Jackson grew up in McCook and attended McCook Senior High School participating in many things including student council, choir, drama, football, and many more.

"I loved McCook and couldn't leave so I stayed here to attend MCC for a few more years," he said. "I knew I wanted to coach and be a leader in my community so I did everything I could to be involved here at the college."

That included sports media, FBLA-Collegiate and MCC Student Senate.

"Being involved put me in a position to be a student assistant for Coach Kobza, an opportunity I'm extremely grateful for." he said.

Jackson is a sophomore science major at MCC.
