Because of expected low temperatures in Norfolk for the baseball doubleheader between McCook Community College and Northeast Community College scheduled for Monday, the teams are moving up schedule and will play those games Friday.
Monday's forecast would have called for first-pitcher temperature at 1 p.m. to be 38 and a high of 42 while Friday's temperatures are expected to be about 62 for most of the afternoon.
The Hawks are 8-4 on the season. MCC has won six straight games and are 9-1.
On Saturday the series between the two teams will move to McCook for a doubleheader starting at 1:30 p.m.
