Two Lady Indians named to All-Region IX South team

Two MCC volleyball players have received post-season honors from Region IX. Sophomore Charlee Russick and freshman Leia Young were both named to the All-Region IX South Second team.

The North Platte Community College volleyball team leapfrogged past McCook Community College in the region standings Saturday with a 3-1 win over the Lady Indians at home. The Knights took the match 25-18, 25-21, 25-27 and 25-22 to move into third place in the Region IX South standings with one game remaining for each team.
