Grant Case is in his second year heading the men’s golf program at McCook Community College.

He is a native of York, Neb and attended Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids Iowa where he golfed for five years (2018-2023). He has undergraduate degrees in marketing and sports management along with his master’s in management. Case also works Heritage Hills Golf Course in McCook.

Prior to taking over the MCC job, he was assistant golf coach at Mount Mercy and worked for Austad’s Golf in Cedar Rapids. He spent the summer of 2022 as a golf operations intern with Wild Horse Golf Club in Gothenburg and from 2016-2021 at the York Country Club in York.

In his first year leading the MCC golf program, the team’s top showings for the 2024-2025 season included third-place finishes at Eastern Wyoming Sept. 12-13, and at La Junta, Colo. March 20-21 as well as both home meets at Heritage Hills Oct. 10-11 and again March 27-28.

The Indians finished sixth among seven teams in the season-ending West Region Championships at Loveland, Colo.
